LED interior lights

No offence taken and my apologies for misunderstanding your post. As you'll gather I am rather enthusiastic about the lights I recommended and for less than a fiver each delivered a bargain.

No problems, and I agree those at £5 are excellent value. though choosing the right replacement LED lamp can be even cheaper. I pay around £1 for my 12V lamps the mains GU10s cost a bit more

18 lumens isn't a lot at all, even for a small boat... Less than a 5w normal 12v bulb. Maybe OK for a bunk light...

I know these aren't the shape you're after, but I bought a few of these and they are a bargain IMHO... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FRILIGHT-...6140?pt=UK_Light_Fittings&hash=item2ed40f451c

I fitted them all with warm white LED G4 bulbs (off ebay, less than a quid each) and they look and work great. The quality isn't fantastic (however certainly on a par with many I've seen at 5-10 times the cost in various chandleries), but for the price (£4 + postage is fixed at £6 no matter how many you order), I can replace them every couple of years. They've been in the boat for a while now and are showing no sign of deterioration. A spot of WD40 in the switch keeps them clicking away nicely and they look great in situ and throw off a nice light on the boat they are on... Wouldn't fit them to a brand new Oyster, but they are fine for what they are on! (Which is nothing fancy!)

I use stick on AA powered led lights which last 2 seasons or more. They cost about £2 per pack and give good light but then I use candles and lamps for my general lighting and only need the leds for over the galley and side table.

Where do you get G4 bulbs for less than a quid?
