LED interior lights, general and reading lights

I bought some of these:
Interior Lights Strip Bar Car Van Bus Caravan 12V ON/OFF Switch 72LED 12V | eBay
A good, bright even light in a plain package.
Would do the job until I find something 'nice'.
Only trouble is, I don't think they will survive 14.4V from the alternator.
They are pretty bight at 11V.
I'm looking at some sort of regulator circuit.
Or they might go under the kitchen units at home.

Try Atenlighting.co.uk I've bought some LED strip lights from them, various lengths, cool or warm white and they do spots as well. Also used in our motorhome and under cabinet lighting in our kitchen (with a transformer) Excellent, good price and very good service.

I bought from them a regulator as they did mention if you have higher voltages (c14v when charging) it would ensure no possible damage. In my case this was using LED strip lights for above the galley.

Yes.
It's either that or an LDO regulator.
I may have some LT1083's coming my way.
Would avoid any chance of EMI issues.
First thing is to place them around the cabin, see if they do the job acceptably.
