Led for bilge pumps

Hi all, new to this forum so please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place. I have a 27ft Elysian center cockpit cruiser that has 3 12v bilge pumps, 2 have switched live and permanent live the other is switched live only. I would like to fit a buzzer and led so I can monitor when the pumps are active. I have a flood float which would alert me to a flood but not when pumps are active. Any help very much appreciated.

if the float switches are built in to the binge pumps it will be not so easy , but if they are separate then just use the switched live to the pump from the float switch to a buzzer and led

Hi Darren, thanks for the reply, unfortunately they have the float built in. I have fixed a micro switch to the knurled knob that allows you to test that the float is free. Tapped into the permanent live feed for the buzzer and led. Will keep you all posted as to the success /failure of this solution.

Hi. You can buy a small panel that will illuminate when the pump is activated. You can go further still and get one that will actually send you a text to your phone when it activates. Should you wish too. Last I looked, there were the former type for sale on eBay.

furthrerv2 my pervious compass light therapy I have remembered it was marlins I bought 12v single lens from. Mee ebay is an option today
