LED deck/steming light

My deck/steaming light is banjaxed. Can anyone recommend a replacement, my Italian made type seems a bit crappy, and lacking in robustness. A combined LED type would be good, perhaps encapsulated to prevent water ingress, oh yes, and tinned wiring as well.

I was thinking of one like this https://seamarknunn.com/acatalog/Osculati-LED-Mast-Steaming---Deck-Light-EM1324388.html

Any recommendations?

I have just fitted one of these and it seems like a good bit of kit. Much better made than the one with an exposed halogen bulb for a deck light, There is not much space between the mast and the light to fit connectors. I soldered the wires together and then slid a heat shrink tube over each wire connection and heated them up which should keep the joint waterproof. No idea how well it works at present as the mast is still down but they get good reports.

Well that's encouraging

I had one on a previous boat that worked fine for years. (Not that I'm trying to persuade anyone not to get an LED type - just don't bin a usable light if you don't need/want to.)

Ditto.
This year I thought I'd try LED so fitted one of these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252291493973. I gave it a coat of Contralube. So far it's been OK but we've not had much rain lately. Not massively bright but perfectly OK to light the foredeck.

The led. Is good and bright illuminating the foredeck and water around the bow making picking up a mooring bouy in the pitch dark much easier

+1. https://www.marinesuperstore.com/lighting/navigation-lights/led-combo-masthead-deck-light is the one I"m considering for my Nic 26.

I actually need a stepladder to reach the steaming lamp and the Halogen flood is a PITA as it's completely exposed and the connection never lasts a full season without needing attention.

I did say I"d report back on my experience with this item.

Fitting it was a PITA. The wings really didn't like being wrapped round my rather fat mast section and there's only two pop rivets holding it in place. The wires are really thin and not up to supporting the weight of any cabling in the mast itself. the clearance behind the fitting is too tight for even the smallest choc block. I'd not buy another one.

That said, once in place, it's bright enough and some, the flood is significantly better than the two pin halogen it replaced as is the steaming light, but the old cover was crazed and salt ground so had lost it's luster.
