A piece of gratuitous off topic advertising!
Several of you may well know me as Chris the Night Berthing Master at Haslar Marina for the past 8 years.
I finished working for the marina on Monday and am returning to my previous life in haulage.
A leaving do has been organised by the marina staff on Wednesday the 26th January in Landers Bistro at the marina. Any among you who know me and are in the area are more than welcome to pop along and help me to go out in style. I know that there are a few of the regulars who know me but I also know how hard it is to get down here mid week, so the offer is there if you want to take it up.
My one regret in leaving this job will be all the fantastic people I have met over the years, but hopefully now that I am going to be just a liveaboard bertholder and not working here, I can spend a little more time socially with you lovely people.
