A couple of weeks ago we were sailing about 5 miles east of the Goodwin Sands when we saw a large shark like fish jump completely clear of the water a couple of times. It had a long slim tail with an up-swept fin which is characteristic of a Tope. I estimated the length to be about 5 to 7 feet. A Tope or something else?
Anyone seen this behaviour before?
