Leaky seam on my Avon- HELP!

In the past I got another 18 months use from a hypalon dink using SLIME which is available from motorist shops like Halfords as an internal leak stopper which fixed the seam leak and 3M 5200 which stuck well when every hypalon glue known to man failed to.

I was broke, could not afford a new dink and my back up dink a smalll Avon could not handle my 8 hp OB.

Yes I've used Slime in bike tubes, certainly works alright but it glues up the valves good style. Never heard of it being used in a dinghy, but hey ho it might well work- certainly worth considering. In an old Zodiac I once used neat PVA poured into it. Worked for quite a while.
