My domestic water pump (jabsco model 31750) has a very slow leak (0.5 L/day) close to the base of the pressure sensor cover. I suspect a failed seal inside the cover. Any ideas please?

Also worth changing the O rings on the inlet & outlet connectors. Mine was leaking & this fixed it.

I keep a selection box on board & matched them from that.
Thanks, good idea for the future. However in my case the water was very much coming from the lowest part of the unit, well below the connectors (tissue wrapped around the connections remained dry) and it seems as if crystals forming on the diaphragms were obstructing its closure and giving a poor seal.

I replaced the O rings and cleaned out the limescale on my similar Flojet pump about 4 years ago and it is still in service.
If I recall correctly there was an O ring between the pump body parts in my case.

Folks said it would be a waste of effort.
I am sure a new pump will be required eventually.
