Update.
Resealed the window using the correct primer and 295UV.
My master stroke was to mask the inside of the window and the outside of the fibreglass.
This meant I put the primer on only where it was needed and not where I would see it.
Also where sealant squirted out it would go on the masking tape so I could get it off.
Anyway it's watertight so so far so good.
The primer sticks like **** to a blanket and I think it is this that makes a big difference.
I could see on removal areas where the 291 had not adhered at all.
