can the above valve be lubricated in any way.
i just feel that the seal is not seating. seems very dry after spending the last winter outside. the leak is very slow. about 3 days to deflate, it does appear to be the valve, bubbles with fairy liquid and you can change the rate of leak by pressing the valve button.
any ideas ?

A good scoosh of silicone spray.

A good scoosh of silicone spray, and if no resolution then replace.
Not a difficult job.

Get a new valve inner, I expect the rubber has gone hard and no longer seals.
Its a cheap, quick and easy job to change the inner valve, worth carrying a couple of spares anyway.
