Visited the LBS at Excel. left leatherhead at 09-30 arrived excel 12-00.(taken by London minicab driver, ouch!) parked £8-00. very windy and great for water sports tank and demos (didnt happen!!!!! and refund offered on representation of ticket at reception) didnt retain mine regrettably. Venue superb. food "airport style" and v expensive (so what changes?) I purchased my annual subscription to MBY from the main stand and recieved superb service and a "free" musto bag for my trouble.alternative was an extra 3 copies of MBM or a pair of "Binos"
General feelings are that I miss Earls court, but only for the journey,
The venue was good and the outside exhibits which include a superb tour of a navy frigate (well done the Royal navy) and a tallship plus steam tug and much more was great!
In future I would go by public transport (but I am sure would regret it ) so probably wont go again. will go to Paris or smaller Palma. (same travel time). If I did go again I would take sadwiches and flask or abstain I am not "tight" but hate being ripped off!).
As for the exhibition itself, great for the disabled as all on one floor ish and plenty of access, large venue, with areas segregated eg Harbours with waterways exhibits, electronics togeather and stinkies and ragies a whole exhibition apart ))). As for the speed boat/wet bike and diving, they are all in the east hall so organisation quite well thought out. regerettably no watersports pool as yet but as previously stated a refund is available on representation of your ticket at reception.
