Let me know on the second part.
Sadly I wont be on our stand, as the missus wont let me leave her for that long aarrrhhh. If you go David please say hello to Philcool and Neil who will be manning the stand . Clive

Actually I had a good look at the S38 last year, Clive and what they seem to have done is converted a lot of storage space into living space. You may have a similar layout to mine where one of the guest cabin side walls has a pull down locker door to reveal a huge 'cave' The S38 has done away with this and has a full port to starboard width cabin.
Pity you won't be manning the stand, would have been nice to say hello. I will look up your collegues though.

Am hopefully going, looking for a 3m RIB/Air Deck and a 4HP Outboard. Hope that will be quick enough for size boat, but cant go bigger because of the rules on windermere

RIB availability

Jim: I might have for sale a valiant 2.8m rib with merc 5hp. All nice condition, owned by me since new, October 1999. This is a really nice rib, I like it so much I bought another which the kids use as a toy. It is in Preston at that boatyard on the Ribble right now, on the flybridge of a trawler yacht, forgotten the name of the yard, near Tarleton. Near you mebbe? Anyway, it might be for sale but I wont know for sure till end of jan, it's all complex to do with a trade in deal that I'm involved in, it might happen one of 2 ways at end of jan, too complex and boring to explain. So, keep looking, dont take mine as available for sure, but if you have still not bort one by late jan let me know.

I have no idea about price but I guess for a 1999 I would ask about 40% of new price? I dunno the new price but easy to look up. It has a custom made cover too in blue canvas.

i really want a good look around the 32ft motor cat - supposedly unsinkable - ahem (dont mention the t-i-t-a-n-i-c word), and its beachable, not sure how swmbo will take it, we've only just got the zingaro refitted

I dont care if its a PETROL it rocks

Yes, going , but no plans. Then again, I bought my boat there with no planning a few years ago, so maybe if something really grabs my attention.. like a bosnia targa ;)

I'll probably go and drool over the Windy stand and the young lady on it! I did last year.....Express Cruisers, deffo fell in love with Windy Scirocco.

I must be getting old, I only drool over the boats, not the young ladies (Crossing fingers, touching wood, and praying I don't get caught out as a dirty old man) and will def be at the Windy stand drooling like an idiot

Yep I will be there, my Xmas list to Santa is

1) New Fire Extinguishers for Engine room/ fuel space
2) Handheld GPS
3) Handhelp VHF
3) maybe a colour plotter/radar

+ lots of little bits , Can't wait

Subtle difference Clive is the Doral is affordable, can't honestly see myself buying a Windy. Was only on the Windy site co they took over Draco and wanted some info. Much surprised that Perla Kennard (it was she) told me that they still have the Draco records and can supply info and spares going back to the 70's.
They were then quite happy to let us look over the Windys on the stand.
