Seeing I've been good, SWMBO says I might be allowed to go to LBS on Sun. Have checked the LBS site and the forums but see nothing about car parking. Am I right in assumming that it is not a problem, other than paying for it?

When I went to ExCel I used the park and ride,£5 all day for car and all pasengers and the bus drops you by the door.Alternatively park at ExCel at a cost of £2 an hour (max cost £8 even if you stay for 4 hour and more)and use the car park ticket machines inside defore you leave.

We used the West car park and the service was excellent - got a golf buggy from the car park straight to the entrance. The only problem we had was that being 4-up in a low slung coupe, I scraped the exhaust on every ramp on the way out of the car park. The noise sounded like the thing was being ripped off, but I think we escaped with no permanent damage, just a lot of nail biting on the way down!

Yes the show is well sign posted form the A406 at the bottom of the M11 and the park and ride is sign posted once you cross over the A13.
If your really snickey (as i was on thursday) you can park in the side roads by "custom house for ExCel DLR station" and walk over the foot bridge, but the london bourgh of newham will probley block that option next year and make it residents only parking.

Parked in the Travel Inn car park sign said £5 all day, the guy in the yellow jacket said its free today, then guy in golf buggy pulls up in the car park and gives us a ride straight to the door.
