Laying up supper

Great news folks! Sailorman is proposing to organise the next supper, possibly at Foxes YC.

Point of Order Mr Chairman.

The East Coast Meeting Forum have Laying Down Suppers.

Conversely we have Fitting Up Suppers too.

I for one completely support the employment of idle pensioners for the greater good of the community, and providing value back for his generous pension.

I am also pleased to see that he is proposing his Day Centre as the location.:p

Laying down supper!

Apologies, Laying down supper it is!

Now, lets have some dates. I'm available any weekend in October. The tides don't matter to me, how about anyone else? Foxes is good as you can get in at any state of the tide and you don't need to go through Ipswich lock.

I don't really care as long as there is enough tide to get us up the wallet!

Having said that, my personal preference is earlier than mid-October otherwise I will be begging for a crew spot or a bunk...

If it is to be at Foxs I could consider this my fitting up supper as I am likely to be there or there abouts ready to launch. Would be good to join in on a forum event as to date we have been unable to do so. Would be good to be afloat by then!

- Forumite
- Oyster owner
- Fox's berth holder
- Pensioner with plenty of time on his hands

Now, you should be able to work this one out for yourself ;)

Oh good I'm up for Fox's. Thanks Sailorman for organising. We've met at Fox's, you were the guy saying how good the food is I think. We had a meal there and it was decent grub and good value. The beers not bad either.
