And can you recommend a good hotel/guest house within easy staggering distance?

I have spoken to Swallowtail, and they are sending menus by e-mail now. This will be the standard menu, and a selection of set menus, including vegetarian of course.
They are happy to run free form on ordering whatever you like, but, like last year, we will all need to confirm our order a couple of days in advance.
Also they have requested a fiver a head as a deposit for the booking. So I have told them there are 20 of us, thus making a hundred quid. I am more than happy to front this one, as I fully expect us to meet the 20!

Anyone sailing down from West Mersea way to Burnham on the Saturday? We've never done that trip company would be nice... so if we make it that's 37.
