Lay-up wintering in Cyprus

I have an idea that we may keep the boat in Cyprus for the winter 04/05. Its easy to get to from the Middle East where we work, and would help take the pressure off to get the boat down the Red Sea this year. Can any cruisers/livaboards/charter skippers give us advise on wintering/lay up their. Suitable Marinas, prices,contacts, in or out of the water, mast up/mast down,general facilities,security. Any information would help thanks. If not Crprus then any where else in the Eastern Med Zone.

I don't know too much about Cyprus marinas but have you considered Rhodes?
Just a thought!

Many skippers choose Larnaca. It's spacious but still crowded and you may have to book.
