Lavac original (or) popular?

Hello,

I want to install a lavac in my new boat, but which model? The original Zenith, or the cheaper Popular?

Is there much of a difference? Or enough to justify the large difference in price?

I swapped my two Zenith´s to...

...Populars this spring. The Zenith´s was more than 20 years old, had to buy new rings, lids, hinges and at least one new pump, the other could be saved, but was heavely scaled.
I could not resist the price of two complete kits of Lavac Popular, the price difference was minimal compared with buying all spares.
This is something I DON`T REGRET, I cannot see any reason buying the much more expensive Zenith´s! Okay, the lid i somewhat flimsier on the Popular, but I regard it as strong enough!
Go for Popular!
