Launching a Corsair F-17 trimaran

Fantastic!
That’s better
Great news
All went relatively smoothly, which was a bit of a surprise.
Wind was 18knots gusting to 22.
A sharp quick learning curve .
have windsurfed, sailed sunfish, optimists, 20 odd footers, 44’0” cat and a turn of the century 12 meter (Kate), but never a trimaran, it was great fun.
The main was reefed to about 50%.
gps has us around 14-15 mph at times.

Voyage to mooring was about 25 miles of distance over ground

We plan to go out again tomorrow to get more experience.

That looks like many a boatyard tractor the world over.

You could move the boat with little more than two blokes and two long levers at the rear of the trailer I suppose .. but I like the tractor idea more ..

Do they launch into the sea right behind your tri using skids rollers or boards at all ?
Actually we hired a Ford F-150, took 75 minutes from getting into the cab and returning it, included dropping trailer off +/-2 miles away.
Had to pay for whole day’s rental. £90.00.

So pleased you enjoyed the sail. I have a picture just like that one looking aft, with a friend's 8 year old daughter at the helm. Lovely spot for a mooring, there’s nothing like a drink in the evening admiring your own boat.
