I remember that day. It was the only day in summer 2014 when it wasn't blowing half a gale on the Costa Smerelda. Thanks for the excellent lunch btw

Just curious J, did you by chance enter in the marina, maybe for refuelling or something?
We have been there with Deleted User last summer, and a marina guy approached us with a RIB because according to him we were approaching the entrance passing above a dangerously shallow area - which actually was much further S according to charts, by at least 100m or so...! :ambivalence:

:encouragement: Thanks to you for leading us to that anchorage, which would easily have been missed if blasting past at 18kts. Was a nice spot. Moriarty or something.

Talking of wind, the first 4 pics are on an earlier day when it was windy, as can be seen from the Laser show. That bay just beyond entrance to Portisco offered a brilliant sailing spot, due to its limited fetch - strong winds and flat water.
