The latest model from the Moon Seeker stable was delivered to Calais Yesterday. The skipper said she flew across the channel at an amazing 6 Knts drawing many a comment from passing ships. Orders are rolling in.
We took our own liferaft as well the one on the fore deck which was flat. more INTERESTING than dodgy. how many illegals do you reckon I could get on her if she comes back
hello Greg.
leftRNSYC Friday night at 1900. No problem withMCA as she is a pleasure? craft under 13.00m. rolled a bit(alot really)other wise no problem.Left under cover of darkness so no one knew it was me!!!!!!!!
The last vessel that turned up in Porthmadog looking like that one, never left. After a couple of years, a bunch of scrap yard welders turned up and burnt her into little transportable pieces.
I like the bow /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif there has to be a caption that goes with it like -
"WANTED"
"This boat was last seen ram-raiding a diesel bunker before heading across the channel."
Folks, this is someones pride and joy but what is even more worrying is someone made this. They sat down with a pencil and a fag packet drew it out and then built it /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif What would you say if it turned up one night and moored up along side you /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Anyway its floating well above its marks, wonder if it could be used to bring a couple of thousand litres of red stuff a time back into the country next year. Could be very profitable

All the magazines commented on the excellent headroom and storage space, I believe.

Yes, and apparently although the sea was flat calm when they tested it, they did cross the wake of the photography RIB several times and the boat coped admirabley well so there is no reason to suggest it wouldn't cope with gale force 9 conditions equally well!
