Yes! another nutter, i am ditch jumping late season.

I am leaving gran canaria begining of jan to reach st. lucia when i arrive.

Any comments? I might add i am single handed in a plastic spastic.

Better late than never, I presume you have your heavy weather preparations completed!

I am jealous really.

Trade winds can be a little stronger in January than the usual November/December, but no real problem. There'll be plenty of others doing it.

The only drawback is you'll have less time in the WI before having to clear out for the hurricane season.

Why singlehanded? Specially in a multi-cabined plastic spastic, solo I'd prefer some nicely tracking long keeled heavyweight which will look after itself.

Mmmmm think that he'd be better served by some nicely tacking long legged lightweight who'd look after him well......one with a smattering of english would help.....
