Whilst the UK is being battered by strong winds and rain, I have spent the last 5 weeks on the boat in Spain.
Yesterday, we went up to the town viewing area and I took some photos.
I've posted them here - some people might find them interesting.
This is a panorama of the whole town and port from the Montsia viewing area.
The Montsia is the mountain that overshadows Sant Carles - the viewing area is on the lower slopes of the Montsia.

This is a normal shot of the town

The town's fishing port can be seen in this photo - over 100 fishing boats land their catches here

Sant Carles is located within the River Ebro's Delta.
Low lying areas are deliberately flooded (controlled) to create paddy fields - perfect for growing rice for Spanish Paella.

This photo shows the location of Sant Carles Marina in relation to the town.
It also shows the vast lagoon that we have right outside our marina entrance - 7 miles long, 1 mile wide and 6m deep - perfect for anchoring.
The long structures outside the marina are mussel and oyster beds.

Here's a cropped version

Just thought it might be interesting for those who don't know SCM to see some up to date photos
