They are an agency that specialises in selling spare capacity for charter operators, so the quality of the actual charter is more related to the operator than the agent, although of course from the booking point of view you rely on Latesail. They have been in business for some time in a very competitive market.
Hi. We used them twice and they are fine and helpful. they essentially act as a broker to offer discounted inventory so that the charter company doesn't have to on its own website. The first time was with Sunsail in the BVI and the second was Phoenix in turkey.
I have used them once last year to sail in the Seychelle. Good service, better price than if I had gone directly to the charter company. They act as a broker. The charter company which was providing the boat was Sunsail if I remember correctly. I will use them again next time (later on this year).
Our experience is that charter companies tend to take notice of you are Latesail customer. The company seem to set quite a store on customer feedback and they have contacts at companies who can arrange flights etc.
just a happy customer, although we haven't used them since we got our own boat.
I second the recommendations. I used them once a couple of years ago to arrange a fairly short notice one week charter in the Whitsundays. Good service, the boat was exactly as required, and the attention from the charter company was excellent. No problems whatsoever, and saved me a lot of phone calls to Australia at unsocial hours.
Another satisfied customer, very efficient and nice people to deal with, we've booked several bareboats and flotillas through them over the last five years or so and Dan or Dave always seem to find something we like at a sensible price, even when we only give them very short notice of our dates.
I much prefer booking with Latesail than going direct to the holiday or charter companies as they just make it all so easy, tell them what, where and when and they come up with all the choices from most of the companies.
We decided on the spur of the moment that we wanted to go to Croatia in July 2013 so I phoned Dave on the Monday, by Wednesday morning we were booked on a Sunsail flotilla out of Dubrovnik and we flew out on the Saturday, we even got a foc boat upgrade when we arrived and had a great trip.

Started in 1998, now the world's largest company of it's type, it's used by over 700 large and medium companies and can have up to 10,000 boats on the site. It also has 'Name your price'. A couple of tips: The charter companies used to give about a month's notice of boats available now it's six months or more when you can get the best price, the change was caused by the recession. Airlines also changed their model tickets were also cheaper closer to the date of departure. Now the best price is if you book early when they open their boards, Easyjet is three months and BA is six months. So do both charter and air tickets at the same time. Hope that helps.
