Late channel crossing August BH Friday

Currently planning on making a crossing from Hamble to Alderney late on the Bank holiday Friday. Current plan is to leave Hamble at around 5.30pm with the intention of putting into Bray by around 9.00pm.

All subject to weather of course as we are only 33ft but in decent conditions can comfortably cruise at 30-32knts.

Just thought I would stick it up incase anyone has similar ideas and would like to make a crossing in company

When are you planning on heading back?

Current plan is to come back on Monday afternoon (subject to tides), probably from Guernsey either St. Peter Port of Beaucette

Have you had a chance to look at tide times? Not exactly ideal... might be an early alarm clock Saturday morning!!

No, not in detail although I have had a brief look to see if Guernsey is oable on Friday evening and it most definitly isnt.

Dont mind an early start on saturday to be honest, but we'll get to gether and see what everyone wants to do
