Last Weekend trip with pics

[Philiz]

Left Port Dinorwic last Friday night 20.30 and headed off over Carnarfon Bar, dropped the anchor at Pilots Cove planning to overnight there. It was a bit on the lumpy side making it a bit uncomfortable for an overnighter, so we set off back over the bar after nightfall and dropped the anchor at Abermenai.

After a good nights sleep and a morning relaxing we set off back over the bar to Dinas with the plan of a beach barbie.

When we arrived we thought there was an unusual number of raggies in the bay.

Couple of drinks on board with raggie friends then ashore with the barbie gear.

Jimmy enjoyed himself

The sunset was lovely

We woke up to a beautiful Sunday morning

We had a leisurely breakfast then set off back for PD. Sorry no phoots on the way back, just one of Mirrormile at anchor before we set off!

All in all a pretty near perfect weekend!

It sure is. Especially great pics like those - the daytime shots make it look quite tropical and the sunset shots were vvv nice. Which boat is the interior shot of? David/Colleen's boat i mean. It's not Providence (I think), so it must be one of the other anchored boats. I was just trying to work out which one...

No, it's not Providence, that belongs to James, the guy with me by the barbie. David and Colleens boat is a Beneteau, sorry can't remember the model, very well kept boat though. The exterior of it isn't shown in any of the other shots, unless you can spot it just behind mine.

always the photos! - lovely images. its good for the south coast boys to see what they are missing. careful though, you wouldn't want them all re locating!

It's all done with special lenses and filters, it's 'orrible here really

It wa quite warm, my shorts don't make an appearance unless it is! It went cool later on, hence the change to trousers.
