My Friend received a new to him Gemini Waverider 650 Rib just before Christmas and we thought it would be a good idea to do its maiden voyage today. It all worked out well and he was very pleased. Mind you it was a good test with gusts up to 30mph and Wind over tide.

Do you have a steadycam?

No that is all filmed on a DJI Osmo action 3 which has internal stabilisation and Horizon balance and many other things besides. It is just an action cam for about £300. Pic below. It has a foam muff around it called a windslayer which helps hugely with wind noise

I always thought, for everyone's safety and to save nuisance wash, there was a 6 knot speed limit on the orwell, except the water skiing section at SYH

Talking about wash when the sea is as it was shows you know very little about boating and how to keep safe in a rib.......... Try and get a little joy in your life perhaps..... I see you have only 12 posts !
