With the weekend almost upon us it just occurred to me how few Rallies clubs have had to Ashmount this year. True the regulars were here and one or two have already booked dates for 2011. We also had an increase in Cubs booking a weekday overnight stop but hard core weekend rallies were definitely down.

Are people going off the idea of organised get togethers?

Weather has well and truly knocked our plans for six,an early St Kats/Thames trip was cancelled and recently my Ramsgate epic was off due to same.
Lots of short local jaunts but no booked well in advance events.

With your excellent record keeping system and diary (well, Eileen's probably) I would have thought you could while away a few hours analysing the bookings over the last few years and identify if your perception is real or imagined?

The TVR is definitely having problems drumming up management for next year and I understand it may be under threat.

For peeps like me that are downriver, its just impossible to make Ashmount over a weekend.

Though another forum bash is long overdue....
