Last day

How did you spend your last day of the year....????
I have just had 10 hours on the water in 35*C heat and little or no wind, helping to run the OZ National and World Championship Hobies series...
Now its a rum for me as I wish you all a Happy New Year...

It's minus 3C here in Aberdeenshire, so I don't think I'll be doing much - Certainly not outside, anyway.

Still, we have the festivities to look forward to tonight ! !

Today I am in the office, got some work to get done without the phones ringing. Tonight we will go to our next door neighbour, he sails and is a yacht owner too, how lucky is that! We will talk and dream of a season yet to come, making plans for our summer sails.

Brian, sailing in 35c, you didn’t mention that fact just to make us all a bit envious did you?

Must remember to PM you in the middle of the Southern hem winter!

how's the weather there? had a call from the kids in melbourne a few days ago to say the temp was down to 11 and they were wearing the winter gloves i'd sent them! at the time it was 12 deg here,

Only low 20's here today Brian, but there again it won't be 10 C tommorrow like it might be in the big M place /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Lazy day, a bit of shopping and tidying up. Lots of holidaymakers here at the beach but extremely quiet all around tonight - booze ban in public places at moment so I think everyone stayed indoors in a huff.

Just got back from the successful ascent of Wetherlam - Superdirectissima with Alpine (07:45) start.
Just got mail from Daughter in Ecuador, Dear Heart now in bath, self to follow then off to the Brothers to sink his spirits (The malt)
