LAST CALL - FINDING SANCTUARY WORKSHOP TODAY at Exeter Golf and Country Club (EX2 7AE) from 3.30pm – 7.30pm.

This is your opportunity to see how Marine Conservation Zones (MCZs) are progressing and meet your Steering Group representative.

It will all be the first chance to see the maps we have created of recreational boating around the south-west, which will be used during the planning of MCZs.

The event is FREE. To book a place call Sarah on 01392 878 340.

As the ban on cross-forum posts doesn't seem to affect this bunch, presumably it won't affect my reply to them (originally posted on scuttlebut), either:-

Carefully timed, late afternoon in the middle of the working week, to ensure that as few people can get to it as possible. But doubtless plenty of stooges from the likes of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Boating and the National Mistrust to pad out the numbers and pledge support for anything that doesn't affect them.

Steering Group representative. (representing WHO)

planning of MCZs. (planning, don't make us laugh)

More red tape, commitees and bullsheet to waste our tax money on.

We've got 5348543543463463435434354354 different committees, groups and gravy trains "running" things already. Which makes me wonder why i keep seeing commercial trawlers in the rivers Stour and Orwell, scooping up the Bass as they come in to spawn.

I wouldn't attend anything billed as a 'workshop'. Meaningless newspeak and the sort of thing where you'd expect to find Legz Akimbo.
