Sent a very old (35) injector pump to Lancing Marine for refurbishment and am gobsmacked at what they sent back. Exceeded my wildest expectations. Unsure if this is normal but a big thumbs up for Lancing Marine - brilliant customer service also.

I'd be interested to know if they did it in house or shipped it out to a diesel injection pump outift?

Other than a media blast to make it look nice and shiney, what has actually been done? any new parts fitted? Any specific issues fixed?

It's been completely taken apart, checked, some seals replaced. Then put back together, replacing a few more aged parts along the way.

It used to leak a considerable amount of fuel into its own oil sump, and there were signs of microscopic particles of metal in the sump, along with the diesel.

Unsure 100% if they shipped it out or not, but talking to them on the phone I don't think so.
