There used to be one as a restoration project <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.tempsanglia.co.uk/lancer.htm>here</A>
They were built with a fast offshore racing hull by Lancer Marine of Oulton Broad near Lowestoft in Suffolk. As you can see from the brochure pic, the were very slick indeed in their day. The hulls were one of the first carbon fibre composite hulls and were ahad of their time. Not sure how many were made, but not many for sure. They were 33ft and fitted with V8 petrols and Cobra outdrives. I did get an e-mail from, I think, a guy on the Isle of Wight who either had one or used to. I was interested in the history of them as I lived in the Oulton Broad area.
Found this one also, which looks in better condition. Still a project though. <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.buyaboat.co.uk/boatdetailpopup.asp?btsrefno=976673>Lancer Corniche Express</A>
Many thanks H00! The catalague pic is much as I remember ,having a large colour pic on my bedroom wall when I was a lad in the early seventies! (I had pics of girls too in case you think i am completely sad!!) It certainly reminds me that my lust for one ,the boat that is, was completely justified, they were certainly one mean and gorgeous looking bit of kit. I had a 17-6" Fonda with a Rover V8 which I suppose was almost looks wise a mini version, sounded like a dragster very anti social I suppose but made the hair stand up on the back of my neck every time I opened er up!. Have an old Bayliner cuddy 19 ft now with a cobra V8 but thru prop exhaust just doesnt quite sound the same, having said that ,it goes OK and wife and dog are a lot more comfortable. Thanks again and perhaps a Corniche Express may be a retirement project (have to be "Dieseled though)
