Anyone tried one??

At less than £20 delivered they're about a quarter of the price of the same Aqua Signal one - and we all know there's (usually) a reason for that - just wondered if anyone had any first hand experience...

Not over impressed with the the Aquasignal one I bought not too long ago. Original bought around 1979 was Ok though. Would have liked a straight replacement of that.

Well known make. If its certified to comply with visible range, colours etc go for it.

Thought about an LED "bulb" for it? I fitted my new Aquasignal with one shortly after buying it.

I bought a stern navigational light 7 years ago and it still works fine, the clear plastic is still like new. I have since then replaced the bulb with an LED one. Lalizas produce good value for money equipment, however, I am not impressed with their marine toilets, the pump still works but has never been that great.

Same here... the one I have is the non-quickfix version (which I don't think you can get any more), and there's nothing wrong with it other than that the lens is completely fogged/crazed - can't get spares at a reasonable price, and I was unimpressed with the quickfix version I had on the old boat.... may have to give it a go....

I didn' think much of their 12M range, so bought the 20M for my Jouet 680.
Overkill, but rather be seen than not.

Boatlamps LED are reasonably priced for a bulb.

Exactly my experience.... had to replace it due to crazing and did so with the latest quickfit version. I'd not like to have to do anything with it at the top of a mast. Devils own job even on the cabin table!... The old non-quickfit one was so simple!
Doubly frustrating that the new one did not fit the old mounting bracket without re-drilling and rerouting the cable.
