Can anybody point me in the direction of the regulations pertaining to the type of antifouling, if any, allowed on Lake Windermere?
What do other lake users do to keep their bottom silky smooth?
I'm sure Lake Sailor has the answers, probably with a picture of a scantily clad, pneumatically proportioned marina operative applying the approporiate emollient.

Standard A/F regullations apply. You should not get fouling as such just a build up of gounge (green). Easy enough to go in water and swim round to clean it off. Alternatively the wardens at ferry nab would happily pull ot your boat on a trailer/cradle and rent you a jet washer. Used to do this mid season. Cost about £50 3 years ago.

My Dad left his Sailing boat in for 3 years with hard fouling on her. He pulled her out and had her clean in 20 mins.

Mind you he did not race her....

Cheers
