They're not saying how long the £5 charge will be levied. The loophole appears to unbungable without getting the by-laws ammended in parliament.
The storms weren't so bad up here. Max about 50 mph winds. It's been the constant high winds that have seen into mooring warps and boats going walkabout have been fairly constant. The usual suspects though. Did my name sake take his boat off for winter?

No he did not. but all is well with his boat. We had nasty storms in Macclesfield and no power for 48Hrs, lots of trees down.
Your namesake said there had been quite a bit of damage, I didn't have chance to talk with him.
Are the mooring charges going up significantly this year?
