La Ciotat (AKA Marseille) Boat Show

The wife just asked if I wanted to go to the La Ciotat boat show tomorrow ?....I know, it’s like I’m living in an alternative universe....it’s one of my favorite, not too big that it’s overwhelming but big enough to be interesting...and mostly, not too far away. If we go I will do a full report....stay tuned

That’s it for the show.....verdict......disappointing.
In fact it brought back repressed memories...from last year...the year before...and before that...of the show not being worth the effort. It was a good show...but has been shrinking and shrinking for years now. If I could remember a year ago, I wouldn’t have bothered....and will probably forget this time next year...doomed alway to repeat myself.
The boat part was ok....it’s always been a show for small to medium sized....that was its charm. But, and I could be wrong, it feels like less each year....but mostly it’s the lack of chandlery....almost nothing when there use to be lots.
Oh well.....live and never learn...

But all was not lost....it was a stunningly beautiful day....so we walked into the old town and harbor of La Ciotat
