L E D bulbs

Tried to replace the halogen bulbs with L E Ds this weekend. Bulbs worked in some fittings yet didn't work in others. Took fitting out and touched bulb to connector wires some 300mm back and bulb worked OK.

I guess the fitting has poor connection and is causing voltage drop but 12v halogen works ok in same fitting.

With small pins can't see how I can clean them internally.

Any ideas.

Since I started sailing, I got paranoiac about connections. Basically, everything get rusty and corroded.
So, I re-wire everything an solder every single piece of naked cable end. Then I vaseline them over.
Time consuming but very efficient
