It is with much sadness that I have to announce the passing of my father Keith, known here on the forum as "Krusty", or prior to selling his boat, as "Piota."
Barely a month after being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer dad died, at home, on Wednesday 24th July.
He led a full life, loving his climbing and sailing. He was a very practical man, having designed and built his own yacht, a 28' triamaran which he sailed all around Scotland for over twenty years. Later in life he bought a yacht, spent a lot of effort altering it to his requirements and then used it to run his "North Scotland Sail" sailing school business.
Whilst sailing "Piota" he developed his own riding sail, details of and discussions about which have been around for some time in various threads here.
He will be sorely missed by all his family and hopefully remembered with some affection by many friends.
