Does anyone know any history about kraken yachts?
Looks like a new company that have built at least one boat - lists a swanwick office for sales. Very oyster/late moody look to them with proper raised deck salloon etc.

Only what can be found on the interweb.

One of the selling points is encapsulated ballast, a niche market but a sensible way to build a cruising boat though not cheap. Lead ballast normally equals quality in the boat line.

I dont see much in the way of a protective skeg for the rudder.

I also never understand why blue water yauchts are designed without ample storage space. It is surprising how much gear you collect and a large lazarette to me makes a huge amount of sense. You dont want all the junk stowed in the living area.

Hiya
All of our yachts have a full length skeg to protect the rudder as well as a unique integral keel with encapsulated lead bulb with no keel bolts.
