Well I have had nothing but success when submitting questions to forumite,s in this my first year back on the water since the 60,s. This weekend, thanks to you, I have secured transport for my sunquest 29 to a dry berth at my place of work, for a serious winter refit. She was weighed on saturday, and thankfully was well inside a maximum weight for trailer transport, via Nigel at boat loads LTD. My next question relates to the hull, painted dark blue, on GRP. Im sure I have read somewhere there is a specialised method for removing paint back to base. I want to finish with a plain white hull. Obviously I could rub it all down and paint it white, but I had in mind bringing it back to the original white gel coat finish.Anyone have any idea,s?
