The BBC and local news are reporting that three boats were involved in a fire - one sunk. They refer to "Kingswear Marina", by which I assume Darthaven. The (far from clear) photos seem to suggest the fire is outside the marina, possibly the foreshore between Dartnav Hoodown and Darthaven? Anybody got accurate information?

Apparently was a lightning strike on a dinghy up waterhead creek. Spread to two others. They all drifted down the creek on fire and under the railway bridge. Caught just in time before they went into the big princess. Taken to hoodown. Fire out.

I am glad no one was hurt but heard it was a lead acid battery 45 amps, which built up hydrogen gas and took out the two storey club house as well. The shock wave was heard 20 miles away.

I know my hearing is bad, but I did not hear it. Do you have any evidence of this?

Don't recall a building in the creek but there was the odd rumble of thunder that night. No explosion audible in several miles.

This particular small 45 amp lead acid battery registered a 6.5 on the Richter scale and a Tsunarni warning was issued up and down the river. Several families were evacuated from low lying areas.

Ooooh. It said wooden boats destroyed. The picture looks like an aluminium one upside down and possibly melted rubber or fibreglass one.... doo daah doo daah. Probably AI interfering or was it a protest at the illegally coming into dartmouth. They're all weirdos in kingswear.????
