That's a shame. We went there once for Thursday Steak night. Good value but the place was in need of investment. Lots of people there though.

We were trying to sail in from the Spitway to Bradwell on Friday afternoon.
Someone said "there must be wind ahead, look at that smoke". We found out later that the smoke was the Kings Head. Great shame.

Many happy memories of lock-ins at the Cricketers. But the landlord shouted at me once for playing pool after hours, said it was taking the pi55; he was right, I was crap at pool.
