Due to a lack of gas we had to eat ashore on Saturday night. The Victoria was fully booked but the Kings Arms (by the dinghy pontoons) fitted us in. Menu was pretty simple, 2 of us had cod and chips and Debs had cod in some sort of sauce. Now considering we were about to have scallops and dover sole on board (all freshly caught by myself) before the gas ran out and that I was almost always disappointed with pub/restaurant fish dishes the cod was delicious. It ranks as one of the best fish meals I can remember eating in any shore side establishment. Super light batter and cooked to perfection. And the staff were pretty and very helpful.
Well done, Kings Arms you saved our evening.
