Nice article on your Astinor Kevin, (MBM) got quite a deal in 99' they've nearly doubled since I see. I know you said you would'nt get another fly as you had not used it much, but if the weather improved you surely would yes? How about the Astinor 1000 or I believe they do an 1100 now? CGN
ps the 840 must be one of the smallest flys going I should think?

Hi Clive,

Thanks for the comments.

When I get a house or apartment in Spain, I might get an Astinor out there. I can't really fault mine. (Got any apartments going cheap?)

However here, if I ever come up with the money, I would like a Dale Nelson or maybe a 38' Cygnus, (if they make one.) That's provided I don't have another company go bust. I've come to the conclusion that its best to run one company only and keep it hands on. Everytime I start something else and get someone to run it, it always seems to falter when I'm not there all the time. Oh! Well!

On the smallness side, I would say that the 840 must be one of the smallest flybridge models on the market. Waterline length is 6.5 metres! Hull length 7.5 metres and overall length 8.4. The latest model from Astinor is the 36. (I believe that stands for 36 feet but I'm open to correction.)

Regards,

Kevin.

Agree with that didnt leave mine in UK to someone else till last March when I came out here, a very trusted employee and friend. Touch wood alls well so far.

If you would like to stay out here cheap for a spell for a holiday or the like, I have aquired a two bed apartment in the Marina, which we let out cheaper to pupils of the school and forum mates. Clive

PS we dont even mind famous peeps what ave appeared in MBM/forums/images/icons/smile.gif
