No…..it will only tell you water is at the impeller…..a tell tail is after the engine

but at least ill know the impeller has water ? at the moment I have not got a clue if its pumping or not , would it be fair to assume if there is water being pumped that its likely all going round the engine ?

what a sh!T design , that you have no idea if its cooling till the gauge shoots up

Warm water should be coming out the exhaust through the prop

its not a small amount

Have you run it in the sea or did you burn out the impeller on the muffs.

What are you trying to achieve/ test?

I killed it with the muffs. But I do t feel you get long with no water in the impeller before it’s dead. So I want to know very quickly that I’m actually pumping water not air.
