Killaloe to Dun Laoghaire - 1000 mile cruise - 10th anniversary

It is hard to believe that it is 10 years this month since we returned from the adventure of a life time. I've reposted the photo blog story below of our trip from Killaloe to DL and back one balmy summer in 2006. The photos were taken back then with only a 4mp camera!!!

Yes there are some other long trips we've been blessed with, especially the tall ships which I will repost when I get a chance. Glad you enjoyed. I'd forgotten about that website until I stumbled upon it by accident recently. Can't believe that trips was 10 years ago and all that has happened since.

Very good Noel, I hadn't seen that very comprehensive cruise report before. Some great memories for the whole family no doubt. I do remember the tall ships cruise you did later though.
Our home state is the same size as the Republic of Ireland, only one tenth the population, but similar terrain and a big and sometimes bad ocean to the west as well.

I'd forgotten this video montage of the trip. Bare in mind its 10yo camera technology only 4mp!!!

Tall ships - This was more recent in 2011 with a 10mp camera but the vid compressed.
