HI

I heard that some keyring floats are useless and tested mine (luckily not with the keys on) and it sank.

My keys weigh 225g and I can't find a float that states that it will work with this weight.

Any ideas? or are my keys just too heavy for 1 ring.

Thanks

I use one of these cork key rings available from most chandlers, I have tested mine with keys and it works just fine, I’m not sure about 225g though? I’ve had the emergency ones which are supposed to just blow up when dropped in water and mine didn’t! Don’t trust them.

Your keys weigh 225g? Just how many are there on the key-chain? I'd be more worried what such a weight is doing to the tumblers and trying to split up the amount of keys on the chain before getting a bigger float. All your eggs in one basket springs to mind.

It sounds more than it is, I have 2 car keys on this and 5 other keys which I do need.

the Audi car key weighs 68g alone.

I was surprised but have had them like that for years.
