Just popped for a few bevvies to The Ketch at Hamble Point and thought it deserved a little plug. It's just had a bit of a revamp...well, quite a lot of a revamp tbh. New furniture inside and out and I have to say they've done it out really well and rather tastefully. Haven't sampled the food yet but they've got a carvery on sunday which we might just try out (luv a carvery y'know!). Anyway, just thought they deserved a mention. No connection just credit where it's due.

nice to hear, last time I went in there it was blooming awful. But did see them busy unwrapping tables and chairs last time I was at Hamble Point, really important to a marina to have a good watering hole IMO.... (or does that say too much about me,,)

Yep, carvery gets a thumbs up from me. Nice roasties, superb cauli cheese, big fluffy yorkshires and crackling that actually crackled!! slurrrrp.

Had a nice meal there two weeks ago great service as well, glad it is back up to speed.
