I have just purchased a Kelt 5.5 near Volos, Greece. The hull looks pretty clean but I would like to change the colour inside and out. My local hardware man suggests cleaning with Nitromors or similar and then using gel-coat. Can I use ordinary gloss inside. The electrics are defunct but I only need lights..maybe a battery and solar charger. Also there is no rubbing strake, just small holes along the lip between hull and deck. Would there have been one...wood or synthetic?
