Hi,
I'm just wondering for those who have done it all before, do you have any tips for keeping the cabin of the boat dry and free from water?
Obviously bad weather is going to be a hell of a lot worse if your beddings sodden, the charts are disintegrating and all your clothes are damp.

Obviously on a small boat its going to be harder, but assuming no leaks, has anyone got any thoughts?

Well I'm fortunate in that I've stripped my boat down to literally nothing!
Above waterline Its a balsa sandwich construction which should give a modicum of insulation, but I intend to add (cheaply) insulation where I can.

I imagine the deckhead would be one of the best places to add it?

I'm getting tempted to go for the Plexi-Glass dome and maybe some kind of hatch arrangement on he washboards for offshore.
