hi there i have always owned wooded hulls so not encountered this.
i now own a fibreglass hull with plywood sandwiched between glass resin
i have some stainless flat bar i would like to attach to keel for protection.
how would i go about this as brass screws would not go in to the glass keel.
bolts need to go right through keel do not like that idea.
what is your thoughts please. garry

Stainless service tapping screws, but you need to drill pilot holes first and then bed in plenty of sealant.

If you can through bolt with stainless bolts of the same grade 316L/A4 not anything less also fit an anode to the keel plate.

Seal around the bolts with Sika 221 and bed the keel plate on it.
